Hell's Gate Biking Safari

Hell's Gate National Park in Kenya offers an exhilarating biking safari experience that allows visitors to explore its stunning landscapes, featuring dramatic cliffs, hot springs and diverse wildlife on two wheels.

The park's unique geology and open terrain make it ideal for cycling, as riders can navigate through herds of zebra, giraffe and various antelope while enjoying the scenic views. Guided biking safaris provide insights into the park's ecology and history, making for both an adventurous and educational outing in a truly captivating natural setting.

Our Hell’s Gate biking safari package offers the opportunity to ride a bike in the wilderness and then hike in the gorges, starting with an early morning departure from Nairobi for a one-hour drive to Hell’s Gate National Park. Upon arrival at the park, you can choose to go on a game drive in a safari vehicle or explore the park on a bike, enjoying a thrilling seven-kilometer bicycle ride before taking a rest at a ranger’s post.

During the biking adventure, participants can witness a real zebra crossing, see the iconic Pride Rock from the movie Lion King and admire the breathtaking landscapes that served as a filming location for parts of the blockbuster movie Tomb Raider. For lunch, a picnic can be arranged at one of the lodges in Naivasha, or you can opt to dine at the geothermal restaurant located within the park. After the bike ride, a guided adventure walk through the gorges provides a unique opportunity to further explore the park's natural wonders and geological features.
